"When we first discussed Sad Face, I was drawn to how absurdity and tenderness could live in the same frame. The waiting room is a space we all know, but here it becomes a liminal stage where reality cracks open. We aimed to create a tone that straddles the line between laughter and discomfort, where the comedy lands but the truth lingers. For me, this film is about the everyday surrealism of being human — and the strange beauty of facing uncertainty together."
